Our history

CAEVITA is the brand created by Carla. 

Living on the French Riviera, she explains that she loved to go tanning in the afternoons with her sisters. She always said that having tanning marks, she did not find it very glamorous.

So, with her beloved sister, they came up with the idea of creating a swimsuit that would let the sun's UV rays pass through and protect against harmful UV rays, the ones that cause sunburns. To tell you the truth, they didn't think it would be possible.

Gathering the expertise of professionals from around the world over the course of intense years, CAEVITA has finally registered its trademark: a swimsuit that allows the sun's rays to penetrate while protecting against harmful rays.

One goal in mind? To make the whole population benefit from this innovation. 

After all, who wouldn't want to say goodbye to tan lines?

Why CAEVITA? 

Carla chose "CA" to represent herself in this brand that is so close to her heart. The "E" is the initial of her older sister's first name, because she has always been there to support her. Finally, the "VITA" stands for "LIFE", because it is precious and our brand is to protect you first.

Let's not forget that the sun is harmful and causes skin cancer. According to e-cancer, 80% of these are related to excessive sun exposure! 

It is therefore preferable to avoid exposure at times when the sun's rays are at their highest (between 12 noon and 3 p.m.).

Whether or not you wear our swimsuits, don't forget to protect the areas not covered by our fabric with sunscreen.
